“This site marks the completion of the first step in a two year project that has taken me from a curiosity of things photographic to a love of things photogenic.”

“I have lugged weighty camera equipment to the top of morgue cold mountains, laid foolishly belly down in front of bee hives, had my already receding hairline cropped even further by fast angry birds, and had toes nibbled on the sea floor while holding a very expensive camera equipment above my head pointed at a very impatient models.”

“The most interesting thing I learned from the thousands of photos I have taken in many locations is that, unless you have someone who shares your passion for photography, your photos will sit in various digital files collecting thumbnail dust for long periods of time.”

“This site is about sending your photos to be seen. Sending your photos to be highly praised or constructively criticized. It is a site without cultural borders or quality restrictions, a site to inspire, encourage, learn, and share.”

“So send your personal masterpieces to be admired. Send them to be savored and to be given full eye contact.”

“…and don’t forget to tell your friends where to find your art. Let’s stop making photography a lonely hobby.”
